How Comfortable Are US Adults with Their Doctor Having Access to Their Personal Health Information*? (% of respondents, April 2021)

Note

Respondents were asked, "How comfortable are you allowing your doctor to access your personal health data and vaccination record?"

Methodology

Data is from an April 2021 Ipsos report titled "Global Views on Personal Health Data and Vaccine Passports." 21,021 adults ages 16-74 worldwide from 28 countries were surveyed online during March 26-April 9, 2021. Respondents were ages 18-74 in the US, Canada, Malaysia, South Africa, and Turkey, and ages 16-74 in all other countries. Data is weighted so that each country's sample composition reflects the demographic profile of the adult population according to the most recent census data.
