Note

Data was provided to eMarketer by Facebook IQ.

Methodology

Data is from an October 2020 Facebook IQ report titled "The Future of Shopping Has Come Early: Perspectives From the Industry" conducted by GfK. 12,063 adults ages 18+ in 12 countries were surveyed online during July-August 2020. Respondents were from Australia, Brazil, Canada, Germany, France, India, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, the UK, and the US. All respondents made an online purchase of beauty, furniture, electronics, and/or apparel in the past three months at the time of the study. All respondents use at least one Facebook platform weekly. Data was averaged across all 12 markets.
