Description
This chart shows which sources that Democratic and Republican consumers in the United States have received news from in the past week. Sources listed include ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, Fox News, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, MSNBC, the BBC, PBS and NPR, among others.Methodology
Data is from a January 2020 Pew Research Center report titled "U.S. Media Polarization and the 2020 Election: A Nation Divided." 12,043 US adults ages 18+ from the American Trends Panel (ATP) were surveyed online during October 29-November 11, 2019. The American Trends Panel is a nationally representative panel of randomly selected US adults. Panelists who do not have internet access at home are provided with a tablet. The margin of sampling error for the full sample is +/-1.43 percentage points.Featured In
