Description

Executives and director-level and above were surveyed in 2018 and 2019 about their company's expected vs actual GDPR compliance. Country respondents include France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, UK and US.

Methodology

Data is from the September 2019 Capgemini report titled "Championing Data Protection and Privacy." 1,100 senior executives (director-level and above) from various industries worldwide were surveyed during June 2019. Respondents were from companies whose headquarters were located in France (11%), Germany (11%), India (9%), Italy (8%), Norway (11%), Spain (8%), Sweden (7%), the UK (11%) and the US (14%) with revenues of $1 to $5 billion (43%), $5.1 to $10 billion (42%), $10.1 to $25 billion (11%) and more than $25 billion (5%) with a consumer base of 1 to 5 million (1%), 6 to 10 million (17%), 11 to 30 million (27%), 31 to 50 million (25%), 51 to 100 million (20%) or more than 100 million (10%).
