Which Types of Digital Purchases Did US Amazon Prime Members* Make During Prime Day? (% of respondents, July 2019)

Description

Amazon Prime members were asked what types of purchases they made online during the Prime Day event. Some of the types of purchases included were: impulse items, household essentials, gifts, Amazon-branded products and back-to-school products.

Methodology

Data is from the July 2019 eMarketer "Prime Day Flash Survey" by Bizrate Insights. 781 US Amazon Prime Day buyers were surveyed online during July 17-24, 2019. All respondents made a digital purchase on Amazon Prime Day (July 15-16). Respondents identified as female (65%) and male (35%), and were ages 18-34 (26%), 35-54 (36%) and 55-65 (38%).
