Channels/Locations Where US Parent Internet Users Plan to Conduct Back-to-School Shopping, June 2019 (% of respondents)

Description

US parents of school-aged children were asked which types of stores they plan on visiting for back-to-school shopping. Some of the types of retailers included were mass stores, online retailers, dollar stores, specialty clothing stores and department stores.

Methodology

Data is from the July 2019 Deloitte report titled "2019 Back-to-School Shopping: Getting ready for the first day of school." 1,200 US parent internet users of school-aged children were surveyed online during May 31-June 6, 2019. Parents had at least one child attending school in grades K-12 this fall. The margin of error is +/-3 percentage points.
