Technologies/Trends that Consumer Goods Professionals Worldwide Believe Will Transform How Consumers Connect with Products* in the Future, by Timeframe, Feb 2019 (% of respondents in each group)

Description

Professionals in the consumer goods industry were asked about technologies and trends that will transform how consumers interact with products. Some of the technologies and trends included were ecommerce, online marketplaces, the internet of things (IoT) and voice assistants.

Methodology

Data is from the May 2019 Salesforce report titled "Consumer Goods and the Battle for B2B and B2C Relationships." 500 professional leaders from consumer goods companies worldwide were surveyed in February 2019. Consumer goods professionals were from Australia/New Zealand (10%), Canada (10%), France (10%), Germany (10%), Japan (10%), the UK (10%) and the US (40%). Professionals identified their job title as C-level or department head (20%), director or equivalent (50%) and VP or executive (30%). Professionals identified identified their annual revenue as less than $250 million (36%), $250-999 million (43%) and $1 billion or more (22%).
