Methodology

Data is from the July 2018 Dentsu Aegis Network "CMO Survey 2018: How Brands Win in the Digital Economy." 1,000 senior marketers and CMOs worldwide from various industries were surveyed during April-May 2018. Respondents identified their job roles as C-level executive (70%), head of marketing (20%) or VP of marketing (10%) at organizations with number of employees of less than 50 (10%), 51-100 (8%), 101-500 (18%), 501-1,000 (24%), 1,001-2,500 (17%), 2,501-5,000 (10%) or more than 5,000 (12%).
