Mobile App Performance Metrics Worldwide: Reinstall Share of Total Installs, by Region, Nov 2017-May 2018 (% of total on Tune's platform)

Methodology

Data is from the May 2018 Tune report titled "App Reinstalls: A Sleeping Giant in Mobile User Acquisition." Tune analyzed two samples of app installs/reinstalls that were measured for their clients. The first sample included 3.1 billion installs/reinstalls worldwide during November 2017-May 2018. The second included 3.7 million installs/reinstalls that occurred via Apple Search Ads during November 28, 2017-January 21, 2018. In addition, 1,079 US smartphone owners ages 18+ were surveyed in November 2017. Tune is a provider of software for mobile marketing management and measurement.
