Methodology

Data is from the February 2018 Experian report titled "Global Data Management Research 2018: Exploring global data management trends" conducted by Insight Avenue. 1,000 employees from companies based in Australia, Brazil, the UK and the US in various industries were surveyed during September-October 2017. All respondents had knowledge or visibility of data management issues and were from the following departments: customer services, data and insight, finance, IT, marketing, risk management and sales.
