Apps that US Digital Shoppers Access During a Digital Shopping Session, Dec 2017 (% of respondents)

Description

In 2017, during the holiday season, the most popular app that US digital shoppers access is Facebook, followed by Amazon and Google search. 1.3% of respondents use eBay during the holiday season. Only 0.8% use Twitter.

Methodology

Data is from the February 2017 Verto Analytics report titled "The E-Commerce Ecosystem: The State of Cross-Device Digital Shopping." A panel of approximately 20,000 US adults ages 18+ were tracked in December 2017 by Verto Analytics. Panel members, who are compensated for their participation, opt in by installing a passive measurement app across all of their digital devices. Verto Analytics is a digital audience measurement company.
