Description

A survey asked US consumers what factors influence them when choosing one brand of durable goods/consumer electronics over another: quality, price, brand familiarity, good reviews, offers/discounts, etc.

Respondents were asked, "What most impacts your decision to purchase one brand of a durable good or consumer/technology item over another?" Data was provided to eMarketer by YA.

Methodology

Data is from a January 2018 YA survey as cited in press release. 1,017 US internet users ages 18+ were surveyed online during fall 2017. YA provides promotional marketing services.
