Data is from the January 2018 Capgemini report titled "Conversational Commerce: Why Consumers Are Embracing Voice Assistants in Their Lives." 5,041 internet users ages 18+ in France (n=1,007), Germany (n=1,010), the UK (n=1,003) and the US (2,021) were surveyed online during October-November 2017. Respondents were equally split among voice assistant users (n=2,558) and non-users (n=2,483). Respondents were female (52%) and male (48%). Respondents identified their ages as 18-21 (4%), 22-32 (18%), 33-45 (23%), 46-60 (29%) and 61+ (26%). Respondents identified their employment as full-time (41%), part-time (11%), self-employed, consultant or freelancer (6%), unemployed (14%), retired (25%) and full-time student (3%). Respondents identified their pre-tax annual household income as less than $20,000 (12%), $20,000-$59,999 (42%), $60,000-$99,999 (28%), $100,000-$139,999 (9%) and $140,000 or more (8%).
