Data is from the September 2016 Demand Metric report titled "B2B Social Media: Investment & Returns" in partnership with Socedo. 401 B2B marketers were surveyed during July 29-August 31, 2016. Respondents were from North America (75%, 71% from the US), Europe (15%) and the rest of world (10%). Respondents identified themselves as primarily B2B (66%) and mixed B2B/B2C (34%). Respondents identified their role/function as CMO (10%), digital marketing (19%), marketing operations (15%), president/CEO/owner (24%), sales (5%), social media marketing (7%), other marketing role (9%) and other (11%). Respondents identified their company's annual revenues as less than $10 million (57%), $10-$24 million (13%), $25-$99 million (13%), $100-$499 million (9%), $500-$999 million (1%) and $1+ billion (7%). Demand Metric is a marketing advisory firm that provides consulting methodologies, benchmarking reports, infographics, how-to guides, advisory services, online training and a library of over 500 marketing tools and templates. Socedo is B2B demand generation platform.
