Data is from the October 2016 Dell Technologies report titled "Embracing a Digital Future" conducted by Vanson Bourne. 4,000 business leaders worldwide across 16 countries and 12 industries were surveyed in February and March 2016. Respondents were from Australia (n=300), Brazil (n=300), Canada (n=200), China (n=300), France (n=300), Germany (n=300), India (n=300), Italy (n=200), Japan (n=200), Mexico (n=300), the Netherlands (n=200), Switzerland (n=200), United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia (n=300), the UK (n=300) and US (n=300). Respondents identified their job function as customer experience (n=279), customer service (n=408), digital (n=296), finance (n=430), IT/technology (n=419), logistics and supply chain (n=235), marketing (n=407), owner/executive (n=385), production and manufacturing (n=394), research and development (n=327) and sales (n=420). Respondents identified their company's annual revenues as less than $100 million (n=160), $100 million-$500 million (n=1,108), $500 million-$1 billion (n=1,079), $1 billion-$10 billion (n=1,018), $10 billion-$50 billion (n=606) and greater than $50 billion (n=29). Respondents were from companies with 250-1,000 employees (n=2,000) and more than 1,000 employees (n=2,000).
