Wearables’ AI health features could have the biggest impact on consumers with low ownership

The data: Health wearable ownership is concentrated among healthier, higher-income, and younger consumers, per our January 2026 US Digital Health survey.

While 25% of consumers used a wearable to track or monitor their health in the past year, adoption rates are lower among those who self-reported being in poor health (18%), a baby boomer (19%), or having a household income below $75,000 (18%), our survey found.
