Google’s €2.4 billion EU antitrust fine could set a precedent for future cases

The news: The European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruled that Google must pay a €2.4 billion ($2.6 billion) fine for abusing its market dominance in the shopping comparison space by making its own shopping recommendation more prominent than rivals’ in search results.
