The news: Tech workers are growing disillusioned by workplace cultures and are willing to quit if they don’t feel a sense of community.

• 88% of global IT services and telecommunications employees said they work better with a sense of community, per Randstad’s Workmonitor 2025 report. And 63% of employees in that vertical would quit if they didn’t feel like they belonged at work.
• Nearly one-third (29%) of the global workforce surveyed have resigned because they didn’t agree with leadership’s viewpoints.
