The news: Deutsche Bank plans to launch a digital asset custody service next year, which would allow clients to securely store cryptocurrencies and tokenized assets, per Bloomberg. It initially announced its custody ambitions in 2022.
The details: Deutsche Bank is actively building out its digital asset infrastructure with the help of Bitpanda Technology Solutions, per Pan Finance.
The bank will also continue working with Swiss crypto infrastructure firm Taurus SA, which it has collaborated with since the start of its custody plans.
