Different Discovery Platform: A GlobalWebIndex survey of "cinemagoers," essentially internet users who visit the cinema at least once a month, found that one in five respondents discover brands via the cinema ads they see. "Perhaps because of fewer distractions surrounding the viewers at theaters, cinema ads continue to make an impact on their target audience, ranking ahead of outdoor ads, or any newspaper marketing," GlobalWebIndex trends analyst Chris Beer wrote in a post.
Netflix Viewing Habits: Just how often do people stream content on Netflix? According to data from CivicScience, nearly half (46%) of Netflix-only subscribers in the US stream content a few times a week. More than a quarter (26%) said they do so a few times a month, while 14% said they do so a few times a year.
