Data is from a July 2021 Northern Trust report titled "The Art of Alpha: It’s All About Investment Data Science." 300 asset management executives were surveyed during Q2 2021. Executives included CEOs, CIOs, chief data information officers, and similar from across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and North America regions, from asset management firms with an AUM of $1 billion-$750 billion and hedge funds managers with an AUM of $250 million-$10 billion.
