Methodology

Data is from a March 2021 AppsFlyer and MMA Global report titled "Personal Data, Privacy, & Smartphones: The Marketer/Consumer Disconnect." 1,500 US smartphone users ages 13+ were surveyed during February 2021. Respondents were iPhone (n=1,000) and Android users (n=500). Respondents were MMA members with titles of manager or above. AppsFlyer is a provider of mobile advertising attribution & analytics. MMA Global is a trade association of marketers, martech, and media companies focused on the future of marketing.
