Methodology

Data is from a January 2021 Sensor Tower report titled "Store Intelligence Data Digest: Q4 2020." Worldwide activity on the Apple App Store and Google Play during October 1-December 31, 2020 was analyzed using Sensor Tower's Store Intelligence platform. Third-party Android stores were excluded. Only 1 download per account is counted toward download totals. Downloads of the same app by the same user to multiple devices and reinstalls of the same app by the same user are excluded. Sensor Tower is a mobile app analytics platform.
