Data is from a November 2020 Oracle Health Sciences study titled "The Accelerated Evolution of Clinical Trials in a Pandemic Environment" conducted by Informa Engage. 252 respondents worldwide, who are involved in the operation and management of clinical trials, were surveyed online during September 21-November 11, 2020. Half of the respondents were in clinical operations (50%), holding director-level or higher positions (52%) in biopharmaceuticals, clinical research organizations, and medical device companies. Respondents were primarily located in North America (53%) and Europe (39%), with some representation from Asia-Pacific (5%) and the rest of the world (3%).
