Apparel and Footwear: “It’s showing the product in full, with a 360-degree view, ideally on models of different shapes and sizes.”. These heuristics can help brands enter the minds of consumers—a precondition for purchase that shouldn’t be overlooked.

In many countries surveyed, VR devices seem to be an expensive toy found most often in affluent homes. But not in Switzerland; penetration was lower than average in well-to-do households. Smartwatches are a slightly different story: Ownership is indeed more common in higher-income households and among younger internet users. But overall penetration was not especially high, at 10.9%.
