Ad spending on both of these formats had grown steadily prior to the pandemic (mobile grew by 25.0% in 2019, while video was up 15.5%), and both held strong during 2020. Mobile was the fastest-growing category of ads in 2020, up 8.0%, and will grow by another 14.3% in 2021.
