Pre-rolls had $15 CPM, and post-rolls were cheapest at $10 CPM. Mid-rolls tend to have higher conversion rates than pre-roll and post-roll ads, according to Spotify-owned Podsights, which helps explain why they’re pricier. (Note, just over half of podcast ads were mid-rolls, per MediaRadar.). Ad length also affects price as longer ads simply cost more, which is true across media types.
