Classified advertising spending growth in 2019—3.4%—will continue to lag far behind display and search advertising spending, which will rise 23.2% and 22.0%, respectively. Digital video, a subcategory of display advertising, will grow by 25.7%. In terms of ad formats, the structure of the digital ad market is not expected to undergo major shifts in the coming years.
