Instagram came in second, with 30 minutes per week. Our estimates show that, thanks to Facebook’s broad appeal across age groups, it will be by far the most widely used social platform in Canada this year, with 21.1 million monthly users. Instagram will be No. 2 with 14.4 million monthly users, followed by Twitter with 8.6 million, Snapchat with 7.7 million, and TikTok with 6.1 million.
