In 2019, adults ages 18 and older in Germany will spend nearly 10 hours per day, on average, with digital and traditional media. Digital will account for the largest slice of the total, or 3:53. TV will account for 3:33.
The reports in this collection look at time spent with media in the US, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, China, Japan, South Korea and India. Two other reports take a close look at time spent with mobile and social in the US.
In the UK, we forecast that 20.1% of internet users will purchase a retail item via a social network this year, representing a 13.3% year-over-year growth rate in users; and in Germany, 23.0% of all ecommerce buyers will also be social commerce buyers this year.
