In fact, monthly TikTok users in each of the 23 countries for which we forecast will have double-digit growth in 2021. In the top 10 growth markets, the monthly user growth rate will be above 30%.

In its latest forecast on worldwide social network users, eMarketer has upgraded its estimates for Snapchat users for 2019 through 2023.

In 2021, Snapchat will be one of only two social networks we track that will have positive growth in time spent, at 2.0% YoY. (TikTok is the other, with a YoY growth rate of 8.1% this year.). In 2020, US adult Snapchat users spent nearly 28 minutes using Snapchat per day, up by 5.0% YoY. In 2021, we expect user time spent to increase by 1.0% from 2020, at just under 28 minutes.
