According to Digiday, Snapchat is experimenting with launching ads inside Minis, lightweight apps from third-party developers that are embedded into the chat section of its core app. Minis were first launched during Snap’s partner summit in June and currently include a Headspace meditation app, Atom’s movie tickets app, a Tembo study group app, and a Turbovote app that helps people register to vote.
