    Although digital advertising spending is surging partly due to increasing consumption of video content, India’s ad market’s spending has not caught up with digital channels. We forecast that, in 2019, digital will account for 20.8% of total media ad spend in India, while the time spent share will be 29.9%. Digital ad spending is expected to grow to 24.3% of total ad spending by 2021.

    In the US, this could easily be seen as undue government interference. Also, many US parents see a mobile phone as an essential safeguard for their kids, especially in an age of shootings and other violence in schools. But in France, which has seen only a tiny number of such incidents, parents and teachers have broadly supported the new rule.
