Facebook has a huge presence in some countries, including more than 98% penetration of social network users in the Philippines and Thailand. After two years of user declines, the exodus has slowed in Japan. South Korea continues to lose Facebook users, but Instagram is picking up the slack. Users in Asia-Pacific Will Rise 10.7% in 2020.
India, Indonesia, and the US will again dot the high end of the growth rankings, although countries like Thailand and Colombia will also impress on the upside. For aggregate spending, the US and China are again way out in front, although thanks to China’s digital centricity, the US lead is not nearly as wide.
