Something to Tweet About: In its Q4 2017 earnings report, Twitter said it averaged 330 million monthly active users worldwide—essentially flat from the previous quarter, but up 4% over the same period in 2016. Meanwhile, daily average users grew 12% year over year.

There's Something About Millennials: New data from GlobalWebIndex, highlighting what marketers should be aware of when it comes to millennials, found that many still prefer broadcast TV. "In fact, this audience still averages more daily time on linear TV than online streaming, and eight in 10 are watching live broadcast TV," said Sofie Lundberg, content marketing executive at GlobalWebIndex in a post.

Not Going for the Gold? Roughly six in 10 Americans aren't planning to follow coverage of the Winter Olympics, per research from Gallup. Some 39% said they plan to watch some of it, but that figure is lower than in past years.
