Methodology

Data is from the February 2019 4C report titled "The State of Media: Q4 2018." TV ads on local and national TV networks on 1,200+ channels in the UK and US (including all 210 DMAs) for direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands were tracked by 4C's proprietary Teletrax TV monitoring technology during Q4 2018. ... In addition, brands active on 4C across Facebook, Intagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat and Twitter were studied during the same timeframe. The brands studied represent roughly $350 million in global media spending across 1,000+ brands.More
