As brands invest more of their budget in mobile advertising, there is an increased demand for better tools and ad units to help them reach their goals. eMarketer’s Lauren Fisher spoke with Tal Shoham, vice president of international business development at mobile marketing and monetization platform ironSource, about what mobile advertisers are doing to be more efficient with their ad spend, and the video advertising trend that’s expected to grow rapidly in 2017.
eMarketer: What are the advertising trends to watch in 2017?
Tal Shoham: Advertisers are becoming more sophisticated. They’re open to using all kinds of data-driven tools, and they’re looking at data in a much more granular way to understand how they can better optimize their campaigns for the platform, device, application, location, time of day and so on.
