Senior Manager, Digital Marketing and Social Media, Absolut Vodka (Pernod Ricard)
Facebook has been an innovative power in the advertising space, but the company has seemingly hit a creative rut, opting to implement features made popular by other platforms such as Snapchat. Jessica Redler, senior manager of digital marketing and social media at Absolut Vodka, spoke with eMarketer’s Maria Minsker about why the brand is still optimistic about Facebook’s ability to develop new ad formats—especially when it comes to video.
eMarketer: What is Facebook’s role in your social advertising strategy?
Jessica Redler: Facebook is one of our core social platforms, and it plays a critical role in generating reach and scaling our campaigns. We view Facebook as a reach and awareness platform that ensures we are getting our message in front of the maximum number of consumers within our target universe.
