Data is from the August 2016 National Cyber Security Alliance and Microsoft "Keeping Up with Generation App: NCSA Parent/Teen Online Safety Survey." 804 US teen internet users ages 13-17 and 810 US parents of teen internet users ages 13-17 from the Zogby panel were surveyed online during June 7-10, 2016. The margin of error for both surveys is +/- 3.5%. The National Cyber Security Alliance is an education alliance for online safety.
