Data is from the November 2016 Greenlight Insights (formerly Greenlight VR) "2016 Virtual Reality Industry Report" in conjunction with Road to VR. 514 virtual reality (VR) professionals in North America were surveyed in July 2016. 75% of respondents came from companies that primarily operated in North America (which included Mexico in this study). Respondents belonged to groups of VR professionals (e.g., Silicon Valley Virtual Reality Association) or developed VR content. Greenlight Insights (formerly Greenlight VR) is a VR research company. Road to VR is a VR-focused news site.
