Data is from the January 2016 Facebook study titled "Mobile-first Auto Consumers" conducted by Ipsos Media CT. 1,001 US internet users ages 18-64 intending to buy or lease a new vehicle in the next year were surveyed online during August-September 2015. Approximately half of the respondents identified as mobile-heavy vehicle researchers and half as desktop/laptop-heavy researchers.
