Data is from the July 2017 Forrester Consulting report titled "The Customer-Obsessed Finance Leader in the Age of Data" commissioned by Dun & Bradstreet. 250 financial executives (CFOs and EVPs of finance) worldwide at companies with $150 million or more in revenue were surveyed online during March-April 2017 about their company's use of data/analytics to inform decisions/strategy. Respondents identified their business as being primarily B2B (19%), B2C (17%), B2B2C (19%) or both B2B and B2C (45%). Respondents were from Australia (12%), Canada (12%), France (12%), Germany (12%), Singapore (12%), the UK (14%) and the US (26%). Respondents identified the number of employees at their company as less than 500 (24%), 500-999 (22%), 1,000-4,999 (31%), 5,000-19,999 (14%) or 20,000+ (9%).
