    Data is from the November 2015 IBM report titled "Redefining Boundaries: Insights From the Global C-Suite Study." 5,247 C-level executives from more than 70 countries and 21 industries were surveyed during January-June 2015. Respondents included CEOs (n=818), CFOs (n=643), CHROs (n=601), CIOs (n=1,805), CMOs (n=723) and COOs (n=657). Respondents were from Asia-Pacific (n=829), Central and Eastern Europe (n=357), Central and South America (n=612), Japan (n=576), the Middle East and Africa (n=566), North America (n=1,112) and Western Europe (n=1,195). IBM used a two-dimensional rake weighting process to correct for oversampling issues arising from differences in the number of respondents in a given role or region. IBM also drew on various techniques, including descriptive statistics and multivariate methodologies, to analyze the responses.
