    Data is from the February 2016 SimilarWeb report titled "Uninstalls: The Data Behind Deleted Apps." The study analyzed activity among more than 4 million Android users worldwide during August 2015. Average statistics for gaming and non-gaming apps were aggregated from the top 5,000 apps by daily active users. Only apps with over 10,000 installs that had been on the market for at least 24 months were included. Category statistics were analyzed by aggregating the top 100 apps in each category by daily active users. Google apps (e.g., Gmail, Google Play, Hangouts, Maps and YouTube) and other commonly preinstalled apps were excluded. Appropriate normalizations were applied to account for any panel churn and other biases that might occur as a result of a broad and diverse user base.
