Data is from the December 2016 Clearhead "Digital Optimization Benchmarking Study." 144 ecommerce executives in Europe (10%), North America (85%) and the rest of the world (5%) were surveyed online in September 2016. Respondents worked for companies that sell goods/services on their ecommerce site. Respondents identified their role as development (4%), management (cross-functional) (36%), marketing (34%), merchandising (4%), operations (3%), product management (11%), UX/design (3%) and other (6%). 66% of respondents had 10+ years of work experience. Clearhead is a digital optimization company.
