    Data is from the June 2016 Facebook report titled "US Beauty Path to Purchase" as cited in company blog. 1,785 US female internet users ages 18-44 who had purchased skincare or makeup products in the past 3 months were surveyed online by Qualtrics in February 2016. In addition, 31 females in New York City and Los Angeles who had purchased makeup, skincare or nail products and who use social media were interviewed by Galileo Research about the evolving mindset of the beauty buyer during January 6-12, 2016.
