Data is from the May 2016 Ovum report titled "Customer Engagement Shifts to Mobile Messaging" sponsored by tyntec. 1,000 internet users in Germany (n=500) and the US (n=500) were surveyed online by Ovum in February 2016. Respondents were asked about their interactions with customer service departments across a variety of industries including banking/finance, cable/pay TV, ecommerce, government, healthcare, internet services, retail, telecom services, transportation/logistics, travel and utilities. tyntec is a telecom-web convergence company.
