Data is from the November 2016 Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia (CNMC) report titled "Panel de Hogares CNMC" conducted by Kantar TNS. 4,685 households and 9,317 individuals ages 10+ in Spain were surveyed by Kantar TNS via online or postal questionnaire during Q2 2016. The "Panel de Hogares CNMC" is an ongoing survey for which data is collected during Q2 and Q4 of each year. Households also send their telecommunication services bills quarterly. Data is representative of the population of households' residents in Spain, which according to Instituto Nacional de Estadistica (INE) is comprises 18.3 million households and 41.6 million consumers ages 10+. The geographic scope is the entire territory of Spain, excluding Ceuta and Melilla. The survey sample is representative for geographic distribution, income level and household size in Spain. The margin of error is approximately 1.4 percentage points for households and 1.0 percentage points for individuals, at a 95% confidence level.
