Data is from the April 2016 Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) "The Quest for Digital Skills: A Multi-Industry Executive Survey" sponsored by Cognizant. 422 executives in Europe (n=213) and the US (n=209) were surveyed during Q4 2015. Respondents were from the following industries: financial services (n=111), healthcare (n=104), manufacturing (n=101) and retail (n=106). Respondents identified their company's annual revenues as less than $500 million (n=211) and more than $500 million (n=211). Respondents identified their job title as board member (n=28), CDO (n=19), CEO or equivalent (n=49), CFO or equivalent (n=30), CIO or equivalent IT role (n=27), other C-level executive (n=38), head of business unit (n=56), head of digital (n=1), head of human resources (n=34), manager (n=11), SVP/VP/director (n=62) and other (n=10). EIU is a global business intelligence provider. Cognizant provides IT, consulting and business process outsourcing services.
