Data is from the January 2017 We Are Social and Hootsuite report titled "Digital in 2017: Southeast Asia." Results are based on a GlobalWebIndex survey for which at least 50,000 internet users ages 16-64 across 34 countries were interviewed during 2016 via desktop, laptop or tablet. At least 3,000 unique respondents are surveyed over a 12-month period in each country. Figures were weighted by We Are Social to represent the total population in each country. We Are Social is a global social media agency. Hootsuite is a social media management system for brands.
